What colors of flowers do you suggest i use in my bouquets?

I am having the color wild orchid(which is a purplish/pink color) for my primary color which will be the color of my bridesmaids dresses! but i am unsure on what color of flowers to use in the bouqet~the type of flower isn%26#039;t that important right at this point, but if you have suggestions on that i would gladly appreciate that as well!

Thanks in advance to all who answer!!

What colors of flowers do you suggest i use in my bouquets?
wild orchid from david%26#039;s bridal by chance? if so i worked there and know exactly what shade. i always told my brides using that color to go with pastel pink/purple flowers. it really makes the wild orchid pop but doesnt overwhelm the eye.
Reply:i would try white. it%26#039;ll make the orchids stand out! plus there are about a gazillion different kinds of flowers that come in white.
Reply:i guess white flowers......white simblolize of purity...
Reply:I had 12 off white roses and they were tinted with a beautiful muted pink. They were gorgeous. Wrapped in sheer pink and off white long ribbons. You can%26#039;t miss with roses.
Reply:I think lavender, light pink and white would be beautiful
Reply:scroll down about 2/3rds of the way on this site, the girls are wearing deep purple dresses and have very pretty bouquets

or if you want something different how about a deep orange calla lily bouquet
Reply:Any way you could go with a dark royal purple mixed with white?? The ribbons could be a mixture of the white, dark purple %26amp; wild orchid. I think that would be lovely - especially with some delicate greenery attached to it. Good luck!!! %26amp; congratulations!!
Reply:You should look up a color wheel. It has every color you could imagine and directly across from it, are the colors that coordinate with it. For example, yellows and golds go with purple, so I would suggest maybe a pale yellow flower.
Reply:if you want everything to be on that same color sceme go with purple and pink flowers (ie chocolate roses, stargazer lillies, several shades of pink gerbera daisies and tulips...

If you are looking for coordinating colors, go with whites, greens and pale yellows (hydrangea, daisies, etc). The sky (or your bank account) is the limit!
Reply:Maybe a baby blue color or a pink/mauve kind of color. I had lavander and light blue for mine. They look very pretty together.
Reply:dark purple, white, and pink
Reply:I%26#039;m a freelance wedding florist, and I LOVE when flowers %26quot;pop%26quot;...I%26#039;d use bright pink (roses or peonies, depending on the season), purple (flox and/or stock), dark pink or purple spray roses, pink and purple lisianthus, and lime green hypericum berries (looks GREAT as a filler, very lush and inexpensive). Plus, since you%26#039;re using minimal roses, your bouquets will be inexpensive and interesting. Goodluck!
Reply:Baby%26#039;s breath, white tulips... lavender...

Light nice colors. Weddings shoould be dreamy and mystifying....
Reply:That%26#039;s a hard one. Maybe just different shades of pink %26amp; purples?
Reply:How about Orchids or Cally Lilly
Reply:use softer less dramatic colors in the bridesmaids bouqets since their dresses are very bright and exciting. Pastel or even faded looking flowers would be a nice accent
Reply:well u should use ur fav color
Reply:roses. They come in just about every color.
Reply:i love roses, they look so nice in pictures. so if there is a way to get pink roses, i would go for that
Reply:hi i would go with a soft lilac colour or off white ...
Reply:I have been to a lot of weddings this year. I loved it when one bride choose dark pink lily type flowers. I also love roses, but I think they are to common. I would go with a pinkish color (not hot pink) and a unique bouquet.
Reply:if your dresses will be purplish (dark) go with a lighter color flower to stand out like pink, white or yellow) and opposite if the dresses will be light go with a darker flower w/ purplish or green tones. lilys are always good they come in many dark and light colors and gerber mums.
Reply:I would choose a color close to the purplish pink for the bouquet, mixed with either white or off white flowers.
